Dr. Eduard Hofert
Eduard is a tech lawyer with extensive experience in providing pragmatic advice to startups and corporations on technology-related legal issues, particularly in drafting and negotiating complex contracts, as well as strategic guidance on regulatory frameworks. He is also focused on privacy-related legal advise such as creating GDPR-compliant internal structures. Eduard started his career in the international law firm Taylor Wessing in the Tech & Media team. He subsequently had different in-house counsel position in tech companies before founding LR29 in 2023.

As a generalist tech-lawyer, Maxim specializes in advising top management on legal strategy related to go-to-market activities, negotiating complex license, SaaS and services agreements, building scaling legal departments, and implementing legal tech solutions. He is skilled in finding pragmatic and creative solutions that align with business objectives and is highly experienced in managing cross-functional projects, overseeing cross-border legal operations, ensuring regulatory compliance, and supporting investment transactions. He gained his experience in various in-house roles, including different tech scale ups and the Google Cloud Legal Team.
